International Womens Day Fun Run
On Sunday 7th March 2010 Kieran, Sylvia, Karen and Jelena will be partaking in the RACQ Insurance International Womens Day Fun Run/ Walk. This is a 5km Run/Walk from Southbank through the city and finishes back at Southbank. All money raised from this event goes towards “Chicks in Pink”.
Chicks in pink is a volunteer based, not-for-profit organisation whose major beneficiary is the Mater Hospitals. The chicks aim is to raise money for breast cancer care and support at the Mater through fun, innovative and educational activities. Their website is http://www.chicksinpink.com/
